The Laboratory studies moisture and salinity of materials using TDR (time domain reflectometry) and FDR (frequency domain reflectometry) methods and develops prototype sensors (ion-selective, redox potential, moisture, oxidation, etc.) for measuring physical and chemical properties of soils and plants.
